Author, Professor, and Strategist

Joseph is an author, professor, and strategist with over 20 years of teaching experience at Drexel University, where he discovered his passion for education. With a professional background in leadership and merchandising at Gap Inc., Limited Brands, and Target Corporation, Dr. Hancock brings invaluable industry insight to his work. He is the founding editor of Fashion, Style & Popular Culture, now in its 13th year of publication. He is the author of the book Fashion Brand Stories now in its third edition and the forthcoming  Marketing Fashion both by Bloomsbury Press. He and lives outside Philadelphia near King of Prussia Mall (fittingly!) where he maintains his pulse on consumer engagements with the latest fashion brands.
